Born in 1955, PhD in Economics from Wuhan University, a Professor at the Economics and Management School, a Supervisor of doctoral students, Assistant Dean of the Economics and Management School of Wuhan University .
Other positions include: Director of the China Finance Society, Director of the China Finance Annual Meeting, and a Member of the Consultative Committee of Hubei Provincial People’s Government.
He studied International Finance and Financial Engineering at Cornell University (1996~1997) and Financial Engineering and Risk Management in Georgia State University (2004). He has long been engaged in teaching and scientific research activities.
Main research interests include: international finance and financial engineering, especially the foreign exchange market, derivative financial instruments, fixed income securities, and financial risk management.
